Our Story

I have always loved baking and fondly remember baking with my mum as a child. She was known by all of my extended family for baking delicious cakes and they always knew there would be plenty of treats whenever anyone came to visit (which there still is to this day). This is where my passion for baking started.

I had always considered starting my own baking business one day but it was never the right time and it was always a worry to go from the stability of being employed. Things changed though after I had my first son in 2019 just as we were all plunged into lockdown. My plan was to return to work part time after my maternity leave and start a baking business on the side to earn some extra money. Things took off much quicker than I had expected and soon I was unsure how I was going to manage working part time and baking.

All of this along with the thought of going back to work and putting my little boy into nursery with the fears surrounding covid filled me with dread, so I decided to take a leap into the unknown and handed in my notice. Over the years my business has gone from strength to strength and continued to expand alongside my growing family.

With 2 new additions arriving in 2022 in the form of twins. We don't do things by halves around here! I am so excited to see where this journey continues to take me and thank you all for the support I have received over the years.
